Prof. Wanja Mwaura-Tenambergen is a distinguished academic leader shaping the future of higher education in Kenya and beyond. As Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, she provides strategic leadership in advancing university education to support national development, innovation and inclusive growth.

A pioneer in Health Systems Management, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening national capacity for health leadership. Her contributions include the development of advanced training programmes and support for Kenya’s progress towards Universal Health Coverage.
