Dr. Wilfred David Kiboro is the Chancellor of Riara University. Dr. Kiboro is a renowned and distinguished Career Leader and Captain of Industry. He began his career as a Technical Sales Engineer at Shell International, where he was swiftly promoted to Technical Sales Manager, in charge of Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing.
Dr. Kiboro went on to be at the helm of six different major companies. Presently, he holds various positions namely: Group Chairman, Family Bank Ltd; Group Chairman, Nation Media Group; and Chairman of Wilfay Investments Ltd.
He is also on the Board of Greening Kenya Trust, Air Uganda; and Rhino Ark; Dr. Kiboro previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer at the Nation Media Group; Chairman of Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Ltd.; Managing Director at Rank Xerox; among others.
Dr. Kiboro has been bestowed with numerous Awards, including the Elder of the Order of the Burning Spear by His Excellency The President; Leadership Shines Through Africa; and is an ICT Hall of Fame Lifetime Inductee, to name a few.
