Immersive Design Thinking Challenge
Siemens has just launched the Immersive Design Challenge. Together with Sony, Siemens is challenging students to imagine sustainable design. Alongside other benefits, the winning team’s university will receive a Sony XR head-mounted display as well as one-year NX Immersive Designer license.
I would be grateful for your support to share the email message below with your students, and with relevant colleagues who can share this opportunity on campus. The entry deadline is December 20th 2024.
The Challenge is open to students from any discipline enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD program and is particularly relevant for students learning CAD or a related program. This is a unique opportunity for participants to develop their skills while working in teams with industry input on a real-world challenge. How would you use immersive design to make a product of your choice more sustainable?
The challenge is open to bachelor’s, master’s or PhD students from any discipline, enrolled thru March 2025. Teams should comprise 3 to 5 students with at least 1 team member experienced in CAD / NX to create a successful entry. The first round requires responses to just 5 short questions.
