Riara University proudly participated in the ACCESS 2.0 Students Business Innovation Challenge 2025 held from October 19th to 24th at The Marvel Hotel in Embu Kenya. The event was organized by Mount Kenya University in collaboration with strategic partners and brought together young innovators to develop impactful solutions for Kenya’s Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry Innovation and Infrastructure.
The challenge features a dynamic program including innovation workshops expert mentorship sessions and competitive pitching opportunities designed to empower students to address real business challenges. Representatives from 10 leading universities across Kenya participate creating an enriching environment for knowledge exchange and partnership development.
Riara University was represented by Mr. Nicholus Mwaura, Dean of Students, Riara University and Qureisha Adow, a student innovator at Riara University who showcased forward thinking solutions aimed at strengthening entrepreneurship and advancing economic growth. Our participation reflects Riara University’s continuous commitment to nurturing a culture of creativity, problem solving and industry focused learning.
